PREPERATION, PREVENTION AND ACTION

We love our little ones and protect them to the best of our ability...But how many of us would know what to do in a critical emergency? The S.A.F.E. Program is designed to focus on Preperation, Prevention and Action specifically for parents and guardians of children in aquatic situations.

Preperation

The SASA staff will prepare you for those critical situations with a 6 hour course that will give you the skills needed to act and potentially save a life.

Prevention

S.A.F.E. particpants will learn how prevention is the most important factor in keeping your family water safe. Understanding known as well as unseen dangers in aquatic situations is the key to maintaining safe environments. SASA will teach you how to assess an aquatic environment and common areas of potential danger.

Action

After completion of the course, participants will know how to develop emergency action plans and how to act in the case of an aquatic emergency. Basic lifesaving skills, much like lifeguards learn, will be taught as well as CPR for Children (certification through the American Red Cross).
